Goodbye Enemy Airship Japan Tour

The enchanting instrumental band Goodbye Enemy Airship from Melbourne in Australia will be in Tokyo this month for a short tour.

Catch them on Sunday September 21st at Ruby Room for Tokyo Gig Guide's regular Farm Party event. They will be joined by Tokyo indie-rock group Naisho and psychedelic electro-pop trio Servals, as well as DJ trio Hippo Disco and DJ Grant McGaheran.

On Tuesday September 23rd (a public holiday), they will be playing at the mighty Bushbash in Koiwa with a host of post-rock, psychedelic and experimental bands.

On Friday September 26th they will be playing at Gamuso Asagaya at Space Fête Vol. 1, a new event organised by Tokyo Gig Guide. Also playing will be post-rock supergroup Mokyow, crazy noise/performance act Akainu Shimai, krautockers Minami-Deutsch, and the strange new group Barry Zogon Band featuring members of Abikyokan and guests.

Goodbye Enemy Airship (オーストラリア)

Goodbye Enemy Airship is a Melbourne based experimental duo featuring Gerard Mason (electric guitar) and Sarah Galdes (drum kit).
Goodbye Enemy Airship’s music is a confluence of instrumental rock, contemporary avant-garde jazz and psychedelica.
Members of Goodbye Enemy Airship are involved in numerous other groups as diverse as stoner rock group Tetris Nightmare! and experimental jazz trio Maka Khan.
For this tour, they will be joined  by Jam on guitar and trombone.
